Every six months the world’s most popular and upcoming design brands make the trip to Las Vegas to showcase the newest and greatest products. We’re so lucky to be right in the center of it all! Market was stunning (as usual!) with a plethora of new vendors, trends and stylish décor we can’t wait to show you! So we won’t… here are #TeamLED’s Top 10 Summer Market Moments!
#1) We had the opportunity to sit and chat with the fabulous ladies of Steelyard, Stacey Tiveron (Founder & President) and Jane Dagmi (Editorial Director). We discussed how they can help connect us with leading design brands to enhance our search when we’re on the hunt for amazing products for our projects. A great resource that we’re excited to have! Plus, they gifted us with stunning grey-toned nail polish made specially for Steelyard. Girls after our own hearts! #nailedit
#2) It was a blast meeting fellow design talents of Dann Foley and Jeanne Chung while guest speaking at the WithIT social engagement panel moderated by Kathy Wall of Media Matters! We appreciated their lively personalities and authentic answers as we gave and received advice on everything social media in the design world.

#3) Walking into Moe’s felt like we were being reacquainted with an old friend. The showroom was full of textured woods and urban touches to beautiful mid-century furniture pieces, as well as traditional pieces. We were immediately drawn to the Isabel Floor Lamp as it was filtering warm beams of light through its amber glass.
#4) We’re lovers of neon signs here in Vegas, and at Lisa Escobar Design, so we were immediately drawn to these pink neon astronauts by Andrew Martin for Resource Decor. We can see them sitting in our living room quite perfectly, what do you think? Love!
#8) With so many seminar options, “Ahead of the Curve” was one we simply could not miss. We got the inside scoop of trending designs from editors of the top design magazines. Some favorite trends mentioned:
- Don’t be afraid to add a humorous touch to a space. For example, an usual wallpaper in a powder room or a quirky accessory that will make you smile.
- To add simple elegance to a room, use natural materials in a refined way, such as a tall four poster bed made out of a beautiful wood.
- To add a bit of a “fantasy” feel to a space, think of using something that transfers you to somewhere else. Such as a swinging egg chair (like this one from Selemat) designed with bohemian patterns and bright colors.
#10) Luna Bella had us looking up as soon as we stepped in. Their lighting collection left an impact on us and gave us plenty of inspiration for upcoming projects! The diversity of their pieces range from artful, timeless, and whimsical to traditional, making the entire showroom feel as if you’re in a fairytale!
