Confident. Fearless. Inspired. | Stevie Henderson |

Hey Guys, it’s Austrie! I’ve been chatting with one my favorite fashion/beauty/fitness bloggers, Stevie Henderson (she’s even done some styling for New York Fashion Week!). Talk about Confident, Fearless and Inspiring! She’s got some great advice about upcoming summer trends and fashion faux pas she’s not afraid to break. She’s also shared the links to some of her favorite things and some items on her wish list. So go ahead, fall in love with her style just as I have.

HIGH POINT MARKET PART 2

A few weeks ago I attended the largest furniture show around, High Point Market in North Carolina. It was a trip full of information, growth and networking! I managed to snap over 140 images from my phone in the one day that Amber and I dedicated to seeing what was new and exciting in the world of interior design and décor. I’ve curated the best of the best for you and I’m sharing them over the course of a few different blogs. If you haven’t had the chance to read Part 1, get caught up HERE.

High Point Market Part 1

I just returned from an amazing trip, I experienced many “firsts” during my travels! My first visit to the state of North Carolina, my first experience at High Point Market, my first mastermind coaching event with one hell of a business woman Terri Taylor (stay tuned for a future post on her and the fearless team she leads), my first time meeting the one and only … K E L L Y   W E A R S T L E R !  Need I say more???! I’m still on cloud 9 a week later!

NYFW: Street Style

For the past week I’ve been staying on top of my favorite fashion feeds to absorb all that NYFW has had to offer. Aside from the obvious reason of keeping up with the latest trends, one of the best parts for me is seeing what the shows’ attendees are wearing. Here are the Street Style looks that stole my heart …

Las Vegas Market – Winter 2015

Last week proved to be a busy one for design professionals alike. With five trade shows to choose from, the second annual Design and Construction Week kept Las Vegas hustling and bustling. My design assistant Amber and I attended Las Vegas Market since our focus is in interior design, decoration, and styling. Over 140 new showrooms were added to the roster, so we had a lot of square footage to cover. Here are the highlights of a few of my favorite products, showrooms,  and vignettes.

Feeling Pinspired

If I’m ever lacking creativity or need a rush of artistic insight, beauty tips, a fashion update, and pretty much anything under the sun… I look to Pinterest. It’s my go-to site and houses over 5,000 ideas I’ve collected since joining. I love the fact that I can easily organize projects, have the ability to “hide” ideas and sources with those sneaky secret boards, as well as share links with friends, family, and even my clients. No matter how busy my week has been, I always fit Pinterest into my schedule. Here are some of my latest pins.

what to wear: nye

It’s not even Christmas but I can’t help but think of what I’m going to wear in celebration of NYE 2015. Since my boyfriend and I will be ringing in the new year on the Las Vegas Strip, I feel the need to be glamorous! Considering that last year’s festivities attracted more than 320,000 people… it may be difficult to avoid that ever dreaded “Who Wore it Best” situation.

Marsala: Pantone’s Color of the Year 2015

The much anticipated announcement of Pantone’s Color of the Year 2015 was declared last week as Marsala. As Pantone puts it, “Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness.”
