Hats off to Las Vegas Market for hosting quite the party last week! With over 5 million square feet of showroom space to see in five days, we were busy bees. If you missed my Las Vegas Market Tips post, catch up HERE to see how we approached this challenging feat.
There was an entire new floor at Las Vegas Market this year focused on Boutique Home Decor. As we talk with clients and friends about what they need help with in their home, a lot of them say “I need help decorating!” There are so many accessories out there for us to use in every space throughout our home. With all sorts of vendors catering towards home decor at Market, we’re bringing you a few of our favorites-I really think you’ll like!
A beautiful light fixture is like frosting on a cake. Hanging a chandelier over a dining room table is always a popular installation, but there are so many places throughout your home that light fixtures will add life to. We’ve collected some unique pendants and chandeliers (10 to be exact) that we want to install! Like, right now!
If you happened to miss our Confident. Fearless. Inspired. interview with Michaela Shallenberger, make sure to check it out HERE. Having such a trendy, industrial and chic home style, we couldn’t resist creating something special just for her. We hope you find this space something you’d love to have in your own home, Michaela. Thanks for spending time with us!
With the majority of my clientele being of the male population, I have come up with a tried and true formula for a kick ass masculine space-minus the violence of course! Incorporate these fundamental furnishings and any man is sure to love his décor.
Wonderwall Studios, headquartered in the Netherlands, is a creative studio that designs and produces wood panelling for walls and surfaces. They use exclusively salvaged wood and employ local, professional craftsman. In the words of Wonderwall Studios themselves, “You could say we craft locally and rock globally.” We love it!
The Las Vegas Market Summer edition held at the Las Vegas Design Center is nearing in just two short weeks, we thought we’d pass along some helpful tips to those of you attending! With more new resources, showrooms and products than ever before, this will be the biggest and best market yet! There are over 5 million square feet of showroom space with outstanding products and inspiration, that means A LOT of walking! This brings us to Tip #1 … wear your most comfy shoes! (or bring a change of flats) Seriously, I’ve been there and it’s NOT a good idea to follow the “fashion over comfort” rule in this case. There’s nothing worse than hobbling from showroom to showroom in utter pain, it’s just not a good look. Something that goes hand in hand with this tip is to wear layers. Outside may be 110 degrees, however it can get chilly inside. A small summer scarf or wrap usually handles the AC draft.
We are bringing you our second Confident. Fearless. Inspired. guest here at All Por Ju! San Diego based, Michaela Sahallenberger, owner & creator of Studio von Berg, has so willingly lent us her artistic mind to share her latest creations with all of our readers. She specializes in calligraphy and illustration all while dabbling in paint and flowers, and we’re excited to introduce her to all of you!
During my trip to Michigan at the beginning of summer I was fortunate enough to get the Shinola experience. Residing in the historic Argonaut building, their headquarters sit nestled in the heart of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies. I can just imagine the amount of ingenuity and imagination floating around there! As a sucker for great design, I was immediately drawn to what greeted me at the entry; a beautifully styled vintage glass bookcase full of Shinola goods. From watches to bicycles, to anything leather you can think of… I was in paradise. With a warm yet industrial vibe, the reception area is clean, simple and masculine.. the perfect recipe for this classic and soon to be iconic brand.
Elle Decor recently published a post titled “How to Decorate With Polk Dots Like An Adult” and I was totally inspired by it! I mean, just look at this art piece- it screams classy.
