There was an entire new floor at Las Vegas Market this year focused on Boutique Home Decor. As we talk with clients and friends about what they need help with in their home, a lot of them say “I need help decorating!” There are so many accessories out there for us to use in every space throughout our home. With all sorts of vendors catering towards home decor at Market, we’re bringing you a few of our favorites-I really think you’ll like!
The Las Vegas Market Summer edition held at the Las Vegas Design Center is nearing in just two short weeks, we thought we’d pass along some helpful tips to those of you attending! With more new resources, showrooms and products than ever before, this will be the biggest and best market yet! There are over 5 million square feet of showroom space with outstanding products and inspiration, that means A LOT of walking! This brings us to Tip #1 … wear your most comfy shoes! (or bring a change of flats) Seriously, I’ve been there and it’s NOT a good idea to follow the “fashion over comfort” rule in this case. There’s nothing worse than hobbling from showroom to showroom in utter pain, it’s just not a good look. Something that goes hand in hand with this tip is to wear layers. Outside may be 110 degrees, however it can get chilly inside. A small summer scarf or wrap usually handles the AC draft.
Last week proved to be a busy one for design professionals alike. With five trade shows to choose from, the second annual Design and Construction Week kept Las Vegas hustling and bustling. My design assistant Amber and I attended Las Vegas Market since our focus is in interior design, decoration, and styling. Over 140 new showrooms were added to the roster, so we had a lot of square footage to cover. Here are the highlights of a few of my favorite products, showrooms, and vignettes.
It’s that time again, Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas! Having just one year under it’s belt, this year is proving to be the biggest and best yet. With five trade shows in five days, yes I said F I V E… Las Vegas is forecasting more than 125,00 design professionals to flood the city. I can’t wait to see all this week has to offer between new products, networking events, and educational opportunities. The best part of all, it takes place in my backyard.
