One of the blog categories I hope you’ll be looking forward to is “CWO” (Currently Working On) where I share a diary of inspo, mood boards, products, photos and anything else that contributes to the evolvement of my designs and projects. If you want to start from the beginning, check out CWO: Private Residence at the Mandarin Oriental Part 1 HERE.

My client’s unit sits twenty six floors above the Las Vegas Strip, basically in the heart of all the action. Views of the city reach beyond the bright lights that run north and south along Las Vegas Boulevard. My point is that I could basically fill the two bedroom residence with nothing but blow up furniture… and no visitor would ever notice. The background scenery was a lot to compete with but my client had some design goals in mind. Other than a few “must-haves” on the list, I was given as much flexibility and free rein on the décor as any designer would dream of!
After months of implementing highly textured wall coverings and draperies, custom designed and built furnishings dedicated to lounging and relaxing, made-to-order art installations, specifically tailored entertainment pieces, and all of the hand-picked and highly sought after accessories.. this project is nearing the end. I keep dreaming up reasons to make edits here and there just so I don’t have to hand over the keys. This project has been my favorite to date, I will be sad when I have to say goodbye.
To be continued….
