Happy First Day of Summer, From Team LED!

The Summer Solstice blessed us this week, where all of us had a day filled with more sunlight than any other day of the year! We hope you all enjoyed the extra hours of sunshine with some summer fun! Team LED cannot wait for all of the fun and design inspiration this summer has to offer and we know you can’t either! Here is a little inside look at what our team is looking forward to this season and what design trends we are seeing pop up. Austrie I love to add some quirky patterns and decor to my home and wardrobe to go with that carefree summer vibe that the warm weather brings. A few items on my purchase list: This vase with a face, this perfume wall art, and these hand tie backs. This quirky decor trend is ideal for summer because it evokes a relaxed and carefree attitude in your space.

As far as what I’m looking forward to? It’s all about baseball for me this time of year. Planning weekend trips around the west coast to watch my favorite team play happens a few times each summer. The ultimate day includes the beach in the morning and then sitting under the stars at the game at night. In my opinion, this is what that carefree summer attitude is all about. Oh, and making plenty of detours to check out the prettiest beach houses!

Whilst living in Barcelona, I saw mini cacti being sold all over La Rambla, and I quickly developed a love for our prickly friends. They make any space feel so airy and light. There are so many types and colors to play around with, as well as some neat display options. My personal favorites are minimalist wall art pieces, terrariums that either sit on display or even hang from the ceiling, and the unique ceramic pieces that house multiple baby cacti. Much like my two head vases I filled with my own mini cacti garden just the other day!
